Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15,1929 in Atlanta,Georgia, USA,


Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist  Minister, activist, humanitarian,and leader in the African - American Civil Rights Movement.He is mostly known or famed for his role in the advancement of civil rights using  non- violent civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs.


On October 14,1964, King received the Nobel Peace Prize for combating racial inequality through non- violence.In 1968, King was planning a National occupation of Washington,DC to be called the poor people's Campaign,when he was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis,Tennessee.


king delivered a historical speech on 28 August, 1963,in Washington DC,USA,on racial discrimination,prejudice, and segregation and includes freedom and Justice.This world famous lecture was highly appreciated by the oppressed people and many humanitarian organizations.


Martin Luther King Jr'S dreams mainly  regarding racial discrimination.The Blacks were treated badly.The poor were downtrodden.They were deprived of their fundamental or  basic rights.They were not given their due rights what the White People enjoyed.


All through his Life,King dreamed of a society where all the people would be treated equally.He also dreamed that the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners would be able to sit down together.He dreamed that one day even the State of Mississippi would be free from injustice and oppression and it would be transformed into an oasis of freedom and Justice.He again also dreamed that one day in Alabama,little Black Boys and Girls would be able to shake hands with White Girls and Boys as Brothers and Sisters.Thus,.Martin Luther King Jr.in his Speech talked about Universal brotherhood.
