Begging is not a profession which one takes willingly. The situation makes one bound to take the path of begging. There are various types of beggars in our society. A street beggar is one of them.Naturally wr come across hom sitting or standing by tje road side to draw the attention of the passers --by through peculiar voices and sings.He is also found every where in the cities and towns and generally in the rail or bus station and in the launch and steamer ghat.A street beggar may be either male or female and sometimes he or she is accompanied with his or her minor children. Blind and lame beggars also belong to them.Street beggar always put on torn and patched up clothes.All the Street beggars have their own ways of life and mood of approaching for alms.He stretches out his hand for help.Specially they let any one go unless some thing is paid.Street beggars often take begging as profession. They sometimes earn a lot. But we should convince them that it is a not means of livelihood. It does not give anything to the society and it lowers the prestige of a Nation.Begging reduces a man to the level of a sub- human being. Inequitable system is one of the problems of begging.All the people of our society should come forward to encourage them to leave this means.Government also should take necessary pragmatic steps to rehabilitate them in the Society.
