Nelson Mandela was born in to Madiba Clan, on the 18th July in 1918 at the village of Mvezo, Cape Province, Union of South Africa ( now Easter Cape)
Nelson Mandela Struggled for the emancipation of the Black people of South Africa from the shackles of Apartheid. This great man cherished a dream and Struggled throughout his Life for establishing an ideal,the ideal of a Democracy and Discrimination - Free Society.
For this, he had to embrace imprisonment for nearly Three DECADES. He deserved or won the support of the World's people through his struggle and Charisma. His charismatic role reach him at the peak of popularity. His outstanding contribution to humanity and global justice have made him an Icon of Peace and reconciliation for the freedom loving people all over the World.His Friends adored Mandela and fondly called him 'Madiba' the clan name by which he was known. People lauded his Humanity, Kindness and Dignity.
Nadine Gordimer's remarks reveals that Nelson Mandela, 'he (Mandela) is a hero not only for the South Africa but also for the whole World'. Such way he became to embody the Struggle for Justice around the World.
