 ***Who were the First settlers in Palestine.?

3,000 to 2,500 BC-The City on the hills separately the fertile  Mediterranean  coastline   of present day Israel  from the arid deserts of Arabia was first Settled by Pagan tribes in what was later known as the land of Canaan. The Bible says the last Canaanites to rule the City were the Jerusalem. 

*** What did Romans  call Palestine? 


During the 2,600 Years those who lived in what  the Roman Emperor Hadrian renamed Palestine were known  as  Palestinians,  including Christmas, Jews,Muslims,and  people of any Ethnic or Religious affiliation. 

Accordingly, Palestinian  did not describe any One Ethnic or Religious Group.

When Word - War 1 ended in 1918 with an  Allied Victory, the 400 year Ottoman  Empire rule ended,  Great  Britain took control over, what became known as  Palestine ( modern  age or day - Israel, Palestine, and Jordan)

The Balfour declaration and British mandate over Palestine were approved by the League of Nations in 1922. (would be continued )07
